Review: Cozzi Blu Taoyuan in Taiwan – A Comfy Stopover Near Xpark & Gloria Outlets

December 2025

With an early flight the next morning, we opted to spend our last full day in Taoyuan — and were glad we did. The city had plenty to offer, so it never felt like a compromise. We booked Cozzi Blu Hotel Taoyuan because it ticked so many boxes for us. Not only was it near the airport (just 20 minutes away by taxi), it was also right next to X-Park Aquarium and Gloria Outlets.

When we arrived, we immediately fell in love with the hotel’s ocean theme and soothing blue-grey palette! We couldn’t do an early check-in, so we just left our luggages and went about our day before returning at around 4.30pm. By then the room was ready.

A spacious, calming family-style room

After the very cramped interiors of Just Sleep Jiaoxi, everyone was so relieved to step into this big, beautiful room! For once, we could lay out all our luggages at the same time! This was especially crucial because we were flying off the next morning and really wanted to pack things properly.

The layout was especially practical, with one toilet, two shower areas (one standing, one with a bathtub) and two outdoor sinks. It meant no waiting around — everyone could get ready at the same time.

Small details like this made a big difference to how the room functioned for a family stay. Everything felt intuitive and easy, from winding down at night to getting out of the door the next morning.

Landmark Plaza

Landmark Plaza, located right next to the hotel, made our stay even more convenient. With Xpark Aquarium and plenty of dining options within the mall, plus Gloria Outlets nearby, it was easy to fill our day without venturing far.

From the hotel lobby, we could walk to Landmark Plaza after turning right at the entrance of Cozzi Market. It links straight into the second floor of the shopping centre. It’s small, but with more than enough shops to entertain us. There’s also a cineplex on the top floor.

We found Landmark Plaza really kid-friendly, with a couple of toy stores and even danzhu game stalls. The ground floor is where you would exit from the X-Park gift shop, and right opposite is Chiao-hu Wonderland, an indoor playground. The space is bright and well-designed, with a mix of climbing structures, slides and imaginative play zones. It’s a convenient option when you want to let children burn off some energy.

Comfortable, convenient and well located, Cozzi Blu Taoyuan is a solid option for families looking for an easy, no-fuss stay near the airport.

Stars on Orchard Road brings readers into the magic of Christmas in Singapore, where Orchard Road glows with festive lights and sparkling stars. Through a young child’s eyes, the story captures simple holiday rituals — strolling under the lights, soaking in the excitement, and sharing the season with family.

When I first picked up this book, it brought back memories of my own childhood — strolling along Orchard Road during Christmas. Now, I do the same walk with my kids. This picture book is a warm, celebratory read that captures a uniquely Singaporean Christmas — one that has grown into a tradition of its own, and one that can now be passed down, page by page, to the next generation.
